Welcome to the

2025 HWY 62 Open Studio Art Tours Registration

Sponsored by the Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council (MBCAC) and now in its 24th year, the HWY 62 Open Studio Art Tours will take place on October 4-5, 11-12 & 18-19. This is an opportunity for MBCAC Artist Members to share their artwork and studio space with visitors from across the region and beyond.

This year we are encouraging more artists showing at Shared Studios, and registration pricing has been adjusted to encourage that.  Less time on the road for our visitors is a win for everyone.  Note:  For shared studios all artists must sign up for the exact same weekends.

The Registration Deadline is March 31, 2025 at midnight.

Do not start the registration process without having everything you need.  Once you start, you cannot save your progress and resume later. After your registration is submitted it cannot be changed, so please make sure you have all the correct information:

  • MEMBERSHIP - Make sure you have an active MBCAC Artist Membership current through October.  Check here if you're not sure, or need to sign up.

  • IMAGES - You'll need three images of your art and/or you and/or your studio space.  We encourage you to also submit additional images of your studio from past Art Tours that we can use in our promotion.  of your CLICK HERE TO REVIEW IMAGE REQUIREMENTS.
  • ARTIST STATEMENTNo more than 50 words.  Consider a tweak on the standard biography or resume, the best statements entice visitors to want to see your art, your studio, and to meet you.

  • LINKS - Have your URLs for your website, Facebook and/or Instagram on hand if you want those listed.

  • DRIVING DIRECTIONS - This is necessary only if GPS does not work for your studio location.   If so, and you are showing solo or the host of a shared studio, prepare turn-by-turn directions in the format of last year's catalog.  You will also be able to select, "use same directions as last year."

  • RETAIL LOCATIONS - Retail shops and other business do not qualify as studio locations with very few exceptions. If you are not sure about your desired studio location, please check with us before registering.

  • Our Participation Conditions have been updated to reflect this year’s changes, so please read them before registering.

  • If you like, you can see the 2024 catalog as reference.
